How to get there: from Amsterdam Central Station take tram 16 or 24 direction VU Medisch Centrum. Get off at Ruysdaelstraat Halte (the tram stop after Albert Cuyp market). From the halte, walk forward to the church on the left side.
PROGRAM
I.Liturgical Celebration- Holy Communion, songs, prayers, Bible Reading
II. General Assembly: 1).Presentation, Discussion and approval of the: a) Constitution and By-Laws b) Parish One-Year Program c) Election of the Filipino Parish Council d).Adopt Resolutions
II. Fiesta: Cultural presentations on the launching of the Parish and the commemoration of Philippine Independence Day and the Pentecost.
The parish is open to all those whose origin and place of birth is the Philippines, who are related by affinity (marriage) to the Philippines, and who identifies with the history, culture and aspirations of the Filipino people for the Reign of God and His blessings for all. The Parish will have programs for Growth in Faith, Rights and Welfare, Skills and Empowerment Training, Social Action/Public Affairs and Cultural Development, Crisis/Counseling, etc.
Come as a member and/or as a friend of the Parish to this historic event.
